Our Vision
Our vision for intervention is to empower every student by providing the support they need to overcome learning barriers, build foundational skills, and grow in confidence. We are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where all students regardless of their starting point can develop the literacy and numeracy skills essential for success in school and beyond.

Intervention Programs Overview
Our intervention programs focus on students who need additional support in literacy and numeracy. Through small-group instruction and personalised strategies, we help students strengthen foundational skills and unlock their academic potential.

1. Tutor Learning Initiative (TLI)
-
The Tutor Learning Initiative (TLI) is delivered through:
- Language for Learning (LFL)
A timetabled class for Years 7–9 students who require additional literacy support. Students attend 5 hours per fortnight in a small-group setting that promotes individualised attention and skill development. - Numeracy for Learning (NFL)
Designed for Years 7–9 students who need support in numeracy and mathematics. This small-group program also runs for 5 hours per fortnight and focuses on building essential numeracy skills. - One-on-One Tutoring
Tailored individual tutoring sessions provide personalised instruction to address specific learning needs. These sessions are scheduled based on student progress and assessment data.

2. Middle Years Literacy and Numeracy Support (MYLNS)
-
The MYLNS initiative provides targeted literacy and numeracy support for Year 10 students who will benefit from strengthening their foundational skills to confidently pursue future work or study. MYLNS is delivered through our Applied Literacy and Applied Numeracy classes, with students participating in four one-hour sessions each week. These small-group classes provide a structured environment to build confidence and close learning gaps.

3. QuickSmart Numeracy Program
-
The QuickSmart Numeracy program targets students who require support with:
- Basic number facts
- Performing calculations
