(This can be done either at home or at school)
IMPORTANT If you have used your Mac for Naplan in a previous year, you should uninstall any old versions of the Naplan browser on your Mac. Go to your applications, right-click on Naplan and then Move to Bin
Please download the Naplan Browser from the following link:
Once the file has finished downloading, open the file or double click on it to begin the installation process
The following screens will appear although they may be slightly different depending on what type of Mac you have:
1. Click Allow
2. Click Continue
3. Click Continue
4. Click Agree
5. Enter the default Machine Name and click Continue.
6. Click Install
7. Click Close
After the software has finished installing you can find it in your Launchpad.
Device Check
Before launching the app to perform the device check you must make sure your headphones are plugged in and the volume is on.
When you start the app and have connected online, you will see the Launchpad.
1. Select Device check (without login).
2. Select the Naplan 2025 server to perform the device check
3. Check the device screen resolution, sound and image.
