The Learning Support Team is an integral part of the care team around the learner at Box Hill High School.
The Learning Support Team includes Learning Support (education support staff) in classrooms and within targeted intervention programs, the Disability Inclusion Coordinator and the Disability Inclusion Leader.
They work in partnership with students, parents, Sub-schools, Wellbeing, Careers & Pathways, Student Support Services (SSS) and allied health professionals to respond to the needs of students with a disability or learning, behavioural or wellbeing need. They work to ensure students can equitably participate and achieve their full potential at school and in life.

Team Vision
We believe all students should be seen and given the equitable opportunities to learn in respectful and positive environments by holistically focusing on their learning and behaviour to develop into confident individuals.
The Disability Inclusion Leader advocates the rights and needs of students with a disability to have the same opportunity and access to education thus building an inclusive and safe environment for learning.
The Disability Coordinator ensues timely and accurate data is captured and reported to various stakeholders to foster engagement and inclusivity.
Learning Support works collaboratively to provided one on one assistance to enhance learning and student outcomes.
