A highlight of our extra-curricular opportunities each year is Box Hill High School’s Production which involves students from all year levels both on and behind the stage.
Students wishing to be part of the cast audition in Term 4 for the next year’s production and rehearsals run all through Term 1, culminating in five shows in early Term 2.
We also are proud of our tech crew which is entirely student run. Lighting, sound, stage management – our students do it all! Production is a community event, bringing students together from across the school through their shared enthusiasm for the Performing Arts.
The show is always well-received, and students form lasting friendships and gain valuable experience from the process. Even after graduating, we still have ex-students come back to assist with directing or backstage!
There are many opportunities to get involved, whether through acting, singing, dancing, choreography, design, hair and makeup and tech crew. We’d love to see you there!
