A few memories...
“Attending the end of term, School Dances run by the Prefects at the Canterbury RSL. 1958-61 Introduction to meeting GIRLS.” ~ Ian, Class of 1961
“Overall, it was a very friendly and supportive environment to learn in and develop as an individual.” ~ Anastasia, Class of 2011
“The early days of 2000/2001 pre-expansion when the school was just 400-500 students and it was a very quiet school. Or bludging in the old Music House when it was too cold to practice music.” ~ David, Class of 2005
“Participating in the whole of school excursions to places such as Yallourn Power Station and Open Cut, Werribee Gorge at Bacchus Marsh and fruit canneries at Shepparton. Chartered trains were arranged to make these excursions possible. Building relationships with mates that have continued to this day.” ~ Bruce, Class of 1960
“English lessons with Mr J Stevens. A teacher who inspired my love of words and books.” ~ James, Class of 1960
“Monday afternoon basketball training with Mr. Whitehead.” ~ Taylor, Class of 2015

Remember the Box Hill High School song? The song was composed in 1948 with words by John Howells and music by Geoffrey D’ombrain.
Thank you to Geoff Winters (Class of 1966) for this copy (linked below), supplied as part of the BHHS 95th anniversary in 2025.
