STEM programs

The school runs extra-curricular STEM programs to provide students with opportunities to develop their skills in design, electro-mechanical systems, control systems, materials and working in teams. These programs currently run on Wednesday afternoons, with competition days on weekends. STEM is a focus in our Guaranteed Curriculum.

Model Solar Car

Students design, construct and test model solar cars to compete in the Model Solar Vehicle Challenge. This includes learning about aerodynamics, technical engineering drawings, machining and electronics.  For more information on the Victorian challenge visit the website here

Robocup Junior

This program has students designing, building and coding robots to compete in the Robocup Junior Australia competition. Teams of students build robots to compete in the Rescue (maze solving) section. For more information, visit the Robocup Australia website:
