Vision Statement
For every year 7 student to be happy to be at school and have positive interactions with fellow peers and staff. To feel connected to the school community through a successful transition to high school where new friendships are formed and students feel encouraged by their teachers to challenge themselves in their learning environment.

How do we support our Year 7s?
Our goal is to create a strong sense of belonging for our year 7 students as they transition to high school. This is achieved through a range of wellbeing and learning programs that we provide. Establishing consistent routines from class to class is fundamental and their teachers work collaboratively to get to know their students and establish positive relationships in the classroom.
Our wellbeing program includes programs, assemblies and excursions that build connection, incorporate social-emotional learning, and strengthen the organisational skills and learner behaviours necessary for success.
An overview of our positive transition program can be found below
