A thriving centre for innovation and learning, the library at Box Hill High School provides:

  • Curriculum resources for the whole school community
  • Dedicated learning areas for both independent and collaborative study including a separate space for VCE students

  • Black and White & Colour Printer and Photocopier and Scanning

Online Resources

  • GALE: An online database with up to date, full text, magazine, newspaper & journal article, videos and podcasts on a whole range of relevant curriculum topics
  • CLICKVIEW: A suite of high quality interactive educational video resources, mapped to the Victorian Curriculum
  • ECHO: online access to The Age, The Australian, Herald-Sun, Financial Review and ABC News services

Reading Collections

  • The FICTION section is organized via genre and lexiled to assist students to engage with the collection and meet their interests and needs
  • The NON-FICTION collection is current and extensive; meeting the needs of the curriculum and our students
  • A comprehensive VCE STUDY GUIDES collection
  • WHEELERS ONLINE: a vast database of fiction e-books and audio books including novels that are studied in English classes
  • Over 23 magazine titles

Library Opening Times

  • Monday – Thursday: 8am to 4pm
  • Friday: 8am to 3.15pm

We are open before school, recess, lunchtime and afterschool every day.
