Parent Teacher Interviews

Years 7-9 - Wednesday 7th October 2009

Parent/Teacher Interviews will be held on the above date from 3.45 to 6:45pm in rooms 210, 211, 213, 215, 216, 217, and G2, G4-G9  (Refer  Map  and  Teacher and  Interview rooms) . The meeting is to allow parents/guardians to meet the teachers and discuss their child’s progress, particularly in the case of those students who may be experiencing some difficulties.  The following school day will commence at 9:25am.

Teachers will be available to meet parents by appointment and it is hoped that you will be able to be present at some stage during the evening.

If you are unable to come on the abovementioned date, but would like to arrange an interview with one or more of the teachers or a Year Level Co-ordinator, please contact the school via email box.hill.hs@edumail.vic.gov.au or by phone on 9877 1177.

Each student will arrange appointment times with their teachers on your behalf using the Appointment Schedule  and when it is completed, should give the form to you.

It is suggested that you instruct your child to space the interviews, ie. leave at least one time slot between interviews to give yourself time to meet with the next teacher, and also to consider room allocations for teachers when booking sequential appointments.

Appointments are scheduled for five minutes but you may book more than one five minute slot if you wish.

In the event that a teacher is unexpectedly absent, and your appointment time is missed, please contact the teacher in writing, preferably via email box.hill.hs@edumail.vic.gov.au  to arrange an alternative interview time, or a time when a telephone interview may be appropriate.  Please supply your telephone contact number and times when you are available for contact.

As a courtesy to the teaching staff, if you are unable to keep an appointment, please either telephone or email the school, preferably before 3:30pm on the day of the Interviews.
