Enrolment
Box Hill High School was founded in 1930. Our reputation has been built on a long tradition of academic excellence, on the commitment of our staff and on the quality of care of the individual student.
The school has also become known for the development of innovative programs of high quality, such as our Accelerated Learning Program (SEAL), our award winning science programs and our innovative year 10 course.
Students seeking enrolment at Box Hill High School are asked to complete a Student Enrolment Enquiry form which can be printed here or is obtained from the General Office.
The completed enrolment forms with attached documentation should be forwarded in hardcopy to:

Neighbourhood Enrolment
With a ceiling on our enrolment numbers, a student living in Box Hill High School’s “neighbourhood” seeking enrolment must present a document which provides proof of a permanent residence within our zone. The criteria for a “neighbourhood” enrolment is that Box Hill High School is the closest government secondary school to the permanent residence. Given the number of schools of varying distances in the area, the school neighbourhood zone is not available on a map.
Suitable documents are:
• A property ownership document in the name of the legal guardian who is living at the address.
• A commercial lease in the name of the legal guardian who is living at the address, which displays a commitment to property that lies within our zone for 12 months from the date of enrolment.
Special Consideration
Any student who is seeking another type of enrolment enquiry needs to fill in an Enrolment Enquiry Form and attach in writing any special circumstances that need to be considered with their request.
International Students
All enquiries should be directed to the International Student Office of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
