Dukes Week

The 11-17th August 2014 was Dukes Week across Australia, and Box Hill High School has embraced the chance to be a part of it.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award program at BHHS has gained momentum over the past 3 years and we can now boast over 100 past and present participants. The Award fits in with Box Hill's objective to grow the 'whole child', giving participants the opportunity to be recognised for Service to the community, Physical Recreation, building Skills and being part of an Adventurous Journey during Camps Week at the end of the year.

Dukes Week included many activities, including a scavenger hunt, tent pitching, serving, cooking and many campcraft demonstrations. The showcase day was an opportunity for all participants to show the rest of the school what they have been working so hard on!
